I am a runner and used to constantly get running niggles – some which stopped me running for a while. A few years ago I went to see Neil Hawksworth to overcome a problem I had with plantar fasciitis. Having helped me with that I decided to see Neil on a regular basis (once every two weeks) for sports massage ‘maintenance’. That was a few years ago. Since then, fingers crossed, I have had no running niggles whatsoever. I am now sold on the approach of maintenance and prevention as being better that cure – this being better for mind and body. Neil is a master of his profession – he knows his stuff. I am very nearly 70 and still going strong – although not quite as strong as when I was 60, 50, etc.
